Our mission is to help protect your family, day and night. So we want to make sure it's as easy as possible to keep your devices working exactly as they should.

That’s why, as long as you maintain your Pro Premium subscription without interruption, your Limited Warranty will cover:

  • For safety devices such as smoke detectors, you'll be covered for the manufacturers recommended product lifespan

  • For all other products, you'll be covered until we discontinue them

I’M A PRO PREMIUM SUBSCRIBER

Premium Extended Warranty

If you purchase a System (inclusive of a base station) on or after 24 May 2022 and subscribe to our Pro Premium Monitoring Plan before the Limited Warranty provided under our Terms of Sale has expired, the term of the Limited Warranty shall be extended as set out below (the "Premium Extended Warranty"). This is subject to you maintaining your Pro Premium Monitoring Plan subscription without interruption. You will not be able to benefit from this Premium Extended Warranty if you (or SimpliSafe) cease your subscription and re-subscribe at a later date.

Product: Premium Extended Warranty period

Life safety devices (smoke detector): The extended warranty period for life safety devices shall reflect the manufacturer's recommended life span for said product. For smoke detectors, this is 10 years from the date of manufacture, which can be found on the back of the product.

All other products: Indefinitely or until the relevant product is discontinued (in SimpliSafe's sole discretion), provided you maintain your Pro Premium Monitoring Plan subscription without interruption.

You must have held your Pro Premium Monitoring Plan subscription for a continuous period of 90 days before you can make a claim under this Premium Extended Warranty. All other terms and conditions of the Limited Warranty continue to apply. Please refer to our Terms of Sale for further details, including details on what is excluded from this warranty cover.

The Premium Extended Warranty is provided as part of your Pro Premium Monitoring Plan and is personal to you. You cannot transfer the Pro Premium Extended Warranty to any other person, even if you sell your System.

We may make changes to this Premium Extended Warranty. If we do, we'll give you 30 days prior written notice. If as a result of any changes we make you wish to terminate your Pro Premium Monitoring Plan, just let us know within 14 days. 

I’M A PRO OR PRO WITH CAMERA RECORDING SUBSCRIBER

If you purchase a System (inclusive of a base station) on or after 24 May 2022 and subscribe to our Pro Monitoring Plan before the Limited Warranty provided under our Terms of Sale has expired, the term of the Limited Warranty shall be extended as set out below (the "Extended Warranty"). This is subject to you maintaining your Pro Monitoring Plan subscription without interruption. You will not be able to benefit from this Extended Warranty if you (or SimpliSafe) cease your subscription and you re-subscribe at a later date.

All products: 2 years from expiry of original Limited Warranty period

You must have held your Pro Monitoring Plan subscription for a continuous period of 90 days before you can make a claim under this Extended Warranty. All other terms and conditions of the Limited Warranty continue to apply. Please refer to our Terms of Sale for further details, including details on what is excluded from this warranty cover.
